The new hybrid material from which they are made makes them extremely light and as such easier to maintain and service. Their serviceability is further optimized by automatic software alignment and power-on self-tests. Moreover, the generator manages software updates and enables remote software updates through the CT system. There is no need for opening the gantry anymore. The generators also feature an intelligent heat and air cooling concept which controls heat performance and offers excellent cooling capabilities.
