High-voltage cable assemblies from Dunlee are known for their long life. Our extensive quality control program includes rigorous testing of the cables’ ability to withstand a small bending radius and many bending cycles. Every detail of our cables is designed to perform to the highest standards. For example, our epoxy plugs are highly heat resistant, and our cables with rubber plugs can transmit voltages up to 160 kV, regardless of cable length. Cables are available individually or bundled with other components like our oncology bundle or CT bundle. In addition to cables for radiography and cardiovascular systems, we also design custom solutions for industrial applications, with a choice of connector types and several lengths.
Connectors | kV Value | Capacity [pF/m]
| Diameter mm |
O3-O3 | 75 | 155 | 16.5 |
O3-R5A | 75 | 155 | 16.5 |
O4-O4 | 75 | 160 | 18.2 |
CA11-R5A | 45 | 150 | 13.3 |
R40P09-R5A | 75 | 160 | 18.2 |
Dunlee’s epoxy plugs can withstand heat up to 100°C, because they are created with a special casting potting that prevents cavities in the cable.
Suitable for single pole applications, Dunlee’s patented R40 connector is ideal for voltage up to 160 kV.
The R5 has a uniquely shaped tip that makes it resistant to high temperatures. It even can also be combined with a different connector like the O3 on the left side of the picture.
