Dunlee to Share Expertise on 3D printing with Tungsten at Additive Manufacturing Tokyo

June 19-21, Big Sight Tokyo, Booth #E10-38

Dunlee experts will be at Additive Manufacturing Expo Tokyo on June 19-21 to discuss 3D printing with tungsten. The booth will feature a variety of tungsten parts that showcase the metal’s versatility. Additionally, Dunlee’s cone beam CT oncology bundle will also be displayed to hint on Dunlee’s large medical product portfolio and to highlight how additive manufacturing can be paired with traditional manufacturing.

“We love meeting with our satisfied customers as well as those who are just beginning to learn about the advantages of 3D printing with tungsten,” said Jan Grage, Dunlee business manager for 3D printing. “Tungsten is really useful for many applications, including those that need a non-magnetic, corrosive-resistant metal that can be fashioned into complex or very thin shapes. It can also withstand high temperatures and shield radiation. 3D printed tungsten anti-scatter grids for medical use are an example of how the benefits of the metal can enhance CT image quality”.

“We’ve mastered the art of additive manufacturing with tungsten, and are eager to share our expertise with partners in Japan,” noted Koji Yamamoto, OEM business manager. “We welcome all manufacturers interested in exploring the suitability of tungsten for their applications.”

Dunlee is the owner of the world's largest additive manufacturing printer park dedicated solely to tungsten. Dunlee’s unique partnership model decreases the risk of adopting a new manufacturing process by providing support and expertise from ideation to large scale manufacturing.

We look forward to meeting with you in East Hall 2 at Booth #E10-38! To arrange a meeting with one of Dunlee's experts, please contact them at marketing.dunlee@philips.com.
