The thicker the grid, the more scatter will be absorbed. Thanks to our highly transparent interspacer material, our grids can be manufactured with a height of up to 5mm. A less transparent aluminum interspacer would absorb too many primary X-rays, which is why with this material, the maximum height is only 3 mm.
