1-5 March, Austria Center, Booth X2-225 Dunlee welcomes diagnostic imaging system manufacturers, distributors and service providers to our exhibit at the European Congress of Radiology (ECR). Visit to see the latest Dunlee solutions for CT, MR and oncology. Dunlee is excited to join attendees in celebrating radiology’s contribution to better health, embodied in the meeting’s theme, The Cycle of Life. “As a company with roots in the very beginning of diagnostic imaging, we appreciate the opportunity to reflect on how imaging has contributed to faster and more accurate diagnoses throughout a patient’s lifespan,” said Robert Bayerlein, Senior Product Manager CT Solutions.
Historic Exhibit of First Rotary Anode Tube
On exhibit at Dunlee’s booth is a nod to the past: a Rotalix X-ray tube from 1929! The Rotalix was the first x-ray tube with a rotating anode, a true breakthrough that made it possible to obtain images not just of bones, but also organs like the heart and lungs. In the 1930s, this tube was used to fight tuberculosis, one of the most urgent health problems in Europe in the early 20th century. With this tube, it was possible to diagnose tuberculosis early via X-ray for the first time.
Latest CT solutions with CoolGlide™ Liquid Metal Bearings for OEMs Visitors to the exhibit will appreciate just how far tube technology has come since the 1929 X-ray tube when they see today’s Dunlee liquid metal bearing (LMB) tubes for the OEM market. The CT3000, CT4000, CT6000 and CT8000 tubes all feature CoolGlide™ technology. CoolGlide™ LMB tubes are designed for higher throughput, faster workflow, lower noise, higher reliability and lower total cost than traditional ball bearing tubes. Just like the Rotalix 100 years ago, Dunlee’s innovations continue to contribute significantly to fight today’s health issues. The rapid increase in utilization due to the current COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the essential role of Dunlee’s CoolGlide™ technology for CT.
New extended warranty for CT Replacement Tube DA200P40+LMB Dunlee announces a new, two-year warranty for its DA200P40+LMB Replacement CT Tube, doubling the length of coverage for the failure mode “frozen rotor.” The new warranty reflects Dunlee’s confidence in the quality and performance of the DA200P40+LMB tube. Launched in 2020, the DA200P40+LMB tube has been installed in GE Optima™ 660 and Revolution™ Evo systems in U.S.A. as well as Europe.
Oncology Solutions for Linear Accelerator OEMs Dunlee’s integrated cone beam CT solution, which makes it easy for linear accelerator manufacturers to incorporate on-board image guidance, will also be on display. It combines an X-ray tube, flat panel X-ray detector, anti-scatter grid and all necessary cables, optimized for integration into linear accelerators and optimized for the needs of Image Guided Radiotherapy (IGRT).
Learn About the Invivo Sentinelle Breast Coil Your choice of breast coil impacts image quality, workflow, patient comfort and accessibility for biopsies. Learn how the Invivo Sentinelle breast coil -- with patented variable coil geometry, open imaging aperture, and an assortment of padding -- can make a difference.
Explore Tungsten for System Components System manufacturers can also visit the booth to learn about Dunlee’s tungsten 3D printing capabilities. Tungsten’s radiation absorption, durability, heat resistance and lack of magnetism make it suitable for a variety of diagnostic imaging components. Dunlee’s unique combination of expertise in both diagnostic imaging and additive manufacturing using tungsten makes us the perfect partner for manufacturers who want to prototype and mass produce high-quality tungsten imaging system components with exacting specifications.
